Electric Skin
Electric Skin is a new invention being researched
by John Hopkins University. It allows prosthetic
users to have a sense of touch by mapping out the
patient's nerves on their amputated limb and
connecting it to senors that signal the brain
different senses of touch such as pain, how hard
the user is pressing, and in the future, temperature.
All of these advancements help amputees to enjoy
feelings they might not have felt in many years.
